Whole-Wheat Pumpkin Waffles

These Whole-Wheat Pumpkin Waffles are SO delicious and perfect for fall!

It’s that time of year when I just want to bake anything and everything pumpkin! It makes me feel like fall is in the air — even if it’s still mostly shorts and t-shirt weather here in Tennessee!

These waffles are so easy to make, they are good for you, and they are just the right blend of hearty but not too dense. I made them yesterday and they were a hit at our house! If you want to add a little fall flavor to your menu this week, try these!

Simple Freezer-Friendly Garlic Bread

Recipe from my sister, Olivia

I originally made this recipe a few years ago when I was prepping recipes for some farmer friends to have in their freezer during the busy harvest season.

They loved how easy it was to prepare, and even claimed it to be their favorite recipe out of everything I made for them that year!

Since then, I’ve made it a few different times for various occasions. It’s so quick to prepare ahead of time, and it works really well for spur of the moment guests or when you aren’t sure until the last minute how many guests you’ll be serving.

Pair it with these super popular Individual Mini Meat Lasagnas for a great make-ahead meal for the freezer!

Cinnamon Raisin Ice Cream Soaked French Toast (Freezer-Friendly)

I’m excited to be bringing you another yummy recipe from my youngest sister, Olivia! If you need a winner French Toast recipe, this is it! -Crystal

I started making this recipe a few years back when I was looking for the perfect french toast recipe to use on one of our super-sized family vacations. (I’m usually the one in charge of all the meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking!)

With 25+ people to feed, it can be difficult to come up with a recipe that suits everyone’s tastes. But this one was a total hit with everyone the first time I made it, and we’ve been using it on our family trips ever since!

Sometimes I substitute in different types of bread for people who don’t like raisins. Feel free to switch it up with the bread of your liking, but I think it adds a special boost of flavor. 🙂

Grain-Free Chocolate Cashew Cookies Made With Black Beans {Freezer-Friendly!}

These Chocolate Cashew Cookies are protein-packed, grain-free, and freezer-friendly! You'd never guess they are made with black beans, because they are SO delicious!!

Recipe from my sister, Olivia

Looking for a grain-free cookie that’s packed with protein and on the healthier side? Try these, and I’m almost sure you won’t be disappointed! You’ll never even notice the hidden ingredient that adds the protein to these delicious, chocolatey cookies!

I whipped up a batch of these earlier this week, and my entire family said they were the best ever cookies. None of them could believe they had black beans in them! My brother even wanted to eat them in one sitting. 😉

The best part? They freeze really well!

Whole Wheat Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Last week, we had some ripe bananas I wanted to use up. So I took our favorite Banana Bread recipe and made it into muffins instead.

I used whole wheat flour and added chocolate chips — because, of course! 🙂

These were so delicious… though I won’t tell you how many I ate over the course of a few days. But they had all whole wheat flour and bananas, so they are totally healthy, right?? 🙂
