YES! Our Aldi here in Cincinnati had eggs for .43 and milk for .72!!! And they were dated 7/12 for the eggs & 7/5 for the milk:)

  • Danielle says:

I’m assuming your family aren’t big milk drinkers? And can I ask, what kinds of things do your kids (or you?) eat for snacks? I’m trying to simplify our menus and grocery spending but it’s just not happening.

    • Brigette Shevy says:

No, we don’t really drink milk. As far as snacks, our go-to snacks are popcorn (I buy it in 50lb bags! :)), homemade oatmeal cookies (we make big batches and keep them in the freezer – cheap!), apples dipped in peanut butter, and fruit. Simplifying grocery spending/menus is a continual process, so don’t be discouraged!

  • Becky says:

Yes, I am loving your Aldi prices! Wish I had one in AZ. Thanks for sharing:)

    • Brigette Shevy says:

Oh, that’s SO sad you don’t have an Aldi! I’m sorry – I’d be lost without one. Hopefully you get one soon!

  • Amanda B says:

The peeling potatoes comment made me laugh. My 8 year old loves peeling potatoes too! I couldn’t be happier having him help me with dinner.
