My 4 Favorite Podcasts

In addition to listening to scopes regularly, I love listening to podcasts. It’s a great way to fill my brain while my hands are busy.
My 4 Favorite Podcasts

Here are my 4 favorite podcasts:

I have been listening to Laura Ingraham for a really long time. She is a conservative talk radio host and part of her show is turned into a podcast every day.

I love Laura for two reasons: she makes me think, and she makes me laugh! I don’t agree with her on a lot of things, but I love that she challenges the status quo. She really makes me examine why I have the beliefs and opinions that I do.

My 4 Favorite Podcasts

2.  by Chalene Johnson

Chalene has two podcasts — one more on life, and one more on business. Sometimes they overlap and she puts the same podcast on both shows. Both are very good, but I personally love the Build Your tribe podcast the best.

Chalene has SO many great things to say and she really challenges me to think outside the box when it comes to my business.

This is the one show that I do skip a lot of episodes, so that I do not feel overwhelmed with information overload. I look and check out the title, and if it’s a topic that is going to make me feel like I need to do more in an area that I know I don’t need to prioritize right now, then I just skip it.

My 4 Favorite Podcasts

3.  by Megan Tietz

I don’t agree with every idea or recommendation on this show, but I have picked up SO many great tips and ideas from this show — in all areas of my life! I especially love the first part of the show where they talk about their “awesome of the week.”

I really enjoy when Megan’s co-host comes on, because I know her personally and she is so much fun to listen to! I love how real Rebekah is, and how she always remains true to who she is.

with MacKenzie Monroe

You all know how much I love MacKenzie’s periscopes, so I’m thrilled that she just started the Cultivating the Lovely podcast a few weeks ago and it’s quickly becoming one of my very favorite podcasts. I’m so honored to be . You can .

My favorite podcast is The Encourager by Rebekah Scott, of Rebekah Scott Designs. It’s an awesome podcast that talks about being a mom, homemaking and especially being a mom-preneur. It is so uplifting, and I especially like how she shares her faith throughout the podcasts. I highly recommend it!!!

Happier with Gretchen Rubin is my favorite podcast for inspiration, but I’m also really digging Answer All right now. The length is perfect for my ride home after the school drop off, and I feel like it’s explaining a whole new world of the internet I didn’t know existed. However, there can be some swearing and not all topics are family-friendly so it might be everyone’s cup of tea.

I love podcasts! Thanks for these great recommendations. Another great one that I just discovered is The Lively Show. It has great personal development and entrepreneurship-type podcasts.

  • E.Blake says:

I love Kris Anne Hall, She does a great job of teaching the constitution, and applying it to what’s going on today.

  • Melissa says:

I only listen to one. Al Mohler does a news one.

  • Melissa says:

Question: How and when do you listen to all these? Do you have earphones? I listen to one while cook dinner and the kids are occupied watching a video.

  • Cindy says:

Try my brother’s two: “Radical Personal Finance” and “Encouraging Christian Fathers”– and . I think you’d like both!

  • says:

Yay! for MacKenzie! You two recorded a great podcast!! I hope everyone listens to your story. I’m so excited for MacKenzie’s podcast! She’s knocking it out of the ball park! The end of the podcast had me laughing at all the silly questions. Great job to both of you! Cultivating the Lovely should be on everyone’s top podcast list!! 🙂

I really enjoy listening to His & Her Money. They are a great Christian couple who talk candidly about all things finance. They go from simple day to day stuff to investing. I love their style and attitude. I watch their weekly Youtube videos, too. It’s one of the few things my husband enjoys with me 🙂 I will have to check out your suggestions!

  • cindy says:

    Andy Andrews!!

I love Michael Hyatt, Pat Flynn and Dave Ramsey podcasts. I’m interested in listening to more podcasts by women and appreciate these recommendations. I’m also a Serial fanatic! Are you thinking of starting a podcast?

    • Jo says:

It’s one of many ideas on the table right now… but I have to figure out a way to do it in a professional and very simple and very economical manner. Still working on that! 🙂

  • Andrea says:

I started listening to Sorta Awesome after you recommended it in your Mom Conference presentation. It’s a fun show and I love Megan’s voice. One of my all-time favorite podcasts is Power of Moms. Their podcasts are always full of what really matters and gives me real-life practicle tips for mothering!

Thanks for the suggestions. I just subscribed to Cultivating the Lovely. The podcast titles look exactly like something I’d like to listen to…

  • Heather says:

I listen to Jillian Michaels and Bill Maher every week as I drive to and from work. I have one day were my commute is rather long and I enjoy listening and learning. I also just keep trying new podcasts as I learn about them. I also like Gretchen Rubin and will listen to her quite frequently.

I love the Brilliant Business Moms and have listened to every podcast they’ve created. The scope of the podcast is a bit narrower than some of the big business podcasts and this helps make running a successful online business seem very attainable.
