A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of speaking at the . At that conference, I also had the honor of getting to meet .
Truthfully, I really didn’t know who he was. But as soon as I heard him speak for just five minutes, I knew that I wanted to hear everything he had to say. He’s a man of character, wisdom, and great experience.
I came home from the conference so impressed with Ken Coleman that I set aside a lot of different books I had been anxiously waiting to read so I could read his new book, . And just as I suspected, I loved it!
In fact, six chapters into the book, I was so excited about it and had already gleaned so much that I did something very uncharacteristic of me and I emailed him and asked him if I could give some copies away on my blog. Because I knew that I had to tell you about the book. 🙂
In each chapter of , Ken asks a single question of one well-known person. There is an amazing line-up of individuals whom he features — from Dave Ramsey to Jimmy Carter to John McCain to Seth Godin and on and on the list goes.
His questions of these individuals bring out a wealth of wisdom and experience. I had to slowly digest the chapters because there were so many great things to chew on.
The stories that Ken shares and the additional thoughts he gives spring boarding from what the various profiled people in each chapter share make this book incredibly thought-provoking, inspiring, and challenging. You might not agree with all the conclusions, but I promise that immense wisdom in the pages of this book will cause you to step back and examine your beliefs, actions, and attitudes.
I encourage you to purchase a copy of this book or request that your library carry it. In addition, be sure to and , and .
