Get $1 off the Motivated Moms 2012 Chore Planner

Update: The wonderful folks at Motivated Moms graciously sent me a new $1 off coupon code!

A number of you missed the $3 off coupon code before it expired this weekend, and wrote int to ask about it, so I dug up another coupon code — this time for $1 off.

Looking for a planner that tells you exactly what you need to do every day to keep your home and life in order? Motivated Moms Chore Planners might be perfect for you.

The Motivated Moms Chore Planners map out a plan for what chores you should do each day and week to stay on top of your household organization and keep your home in great shape. Check out the sample pages at the bottom of the products page to see if this system might work for you.

Use coupon code 1OFF to get $1 off the printable chore planners, making them just $7 for the 2012 planner.

Motivated Moms also recently released a brand-new Motivated Moms App.

I wish the app was for android!!

  • JAM says:

I am interested in the app but there are only 5 reviews on iTunes. I’d love to find out what any MSM readers think of the app if anyone has used it. Thanks!

    • Julie says:

I just purchashed this app yesterday, and was very leery after reading the reviews. Yes, it is rather expensive, but I think it will work perfectly for me. Being a person that bought the last two books online and never following it because I didn’t want to spend the time/money printing out the pages, I think this will be perfect. MUCH easier, in my opinion, as I always have it with me.

Every day tasks are there, along with the extra cleaning tasks spaced throughout the year. You can color code different people, however, you cannot send to another app. I used the color codes to specify, morning, afternoon, evening, and bedtime. Then it sorts by those categories.

One big issue on the reviews was that if something wasn’t done, it didn’t go to the next day. Simple way of fixing that is if you don’t do something, click the edit button, and change the date for that particular item to the next day. Takes 2 seconds.

As I said, I only bought this yesterday, but am totally in love with it so far!

I tried using the motivated moms coupon code “giveaways” and the website says it is an invalid code. I even copied and pasted. Thought you might want to know.

    • Crystal says:

Yes, I changed the post and updated it above. Try using 1OFF and that should work. My apologies on the misinformation when I first posted!

I purchased and downloaded this on Mother’s Day. I absolutely love it! I have never been a very organized person, and was never taught how to keep a house, so needless to say it has been an uphill battle trying to learn on the fly how to be a stay at home mom with 4 kids. This has already helped me so much in just the few short days I have had it. I highly recommend this to anyone that needs that extra motivation to get going on chores in the morning. I am actually looking forward each day to checking things off my list!!! Thank you so much for the link.

    • Mrs. R. says:

These are the same reasons I’m eager to get it!

Thank you so much , Crystal! At our house, we would say, “now THAT’S grace and mercy!” ( that you gave us a SECOND, later money-off code!) 🙂

  • Jen says:

No way! 🙁 I tried the other coupon yesterday and it wouldn’t work. I went ahead and bought it anyway because I thought it would be helpful. Figures, now there is a coupon out.

  • Amanda says:

Does anyone know if this gives you a year of Daily Chores with the “year” BEGINNING the day of purchase, or just January – December 2012? In other words, are we paying for a half-year at this point?

    • Crystal says:

Amanda: You’ll get the whole year, beginning January 1, 2012.

    • Mrs. R. says:

I was wondering the same thing…

When I bought it just now, I discovered it’s for an entire year—–it downloaded checklists all the way from January 1, 2012 to January 5, 2013. Yippeeeeee!!!

  • Carrie says:

I downloaded the app on Mother’s Day and so far I am in love! I am an organized person and “clean freak” as it is, and this really helps me focus on certain areas and days and it is amazing how much more I get done in less time.
I also love being able to check things off the list and see the progress. Honestly, I have even gotten up earlier (willingly 🙂 )every day since I got the app, to try to accomplish more earlier in the day. We shall see how long that lasts. :)The only thing I am bummed about is from reading the reviews, you only get 2012 – and this is already May and then you have to pay full price again in January to get 2013. I wish it went for a year from your purchase date or even a discount for repeat buyers since it is such an expensive app. But I will enjoy it for now.

  • Courtney says:

I realized that even though I didn’t purchase this at the beginning of the year, I will still get 7 full months out of it, which works out to $1 per month. That’s still a good deal!

  • Erin says:

Is every week the same “chores” or is there some variety from week to week? I love checklists!

  • Sam says:

Ok…Maybe I am missing something. Is there a place somewhere on the lists for windows, porch sweeping, laundry….?
