Thank you for all the information you provide! This is my second week of doing the CVS thing seriously. I got more than $80 worth of stuff for less than $8 out of pocket! I’m so excited I have to keep myself from accumulating too much free stuff. 😀

  • Jessica says:

I don’t have a blog – So here’s my scenario for this week.

    8 Dawn Simple Pleasures $8.00
    6 Pert Plus Botanicals $15.00
    8 Powerade 5.96
    1 CVS 15ct towelettes 2.99

    – $8 Dawn (8 $1/1 Q’s)
    – $18.00 Pert(6 $3/1 Q’s)
    – $4.00 Powerade (4 $1/2 Q’s found at tearpad @ Home Depot)
    – $2.00 CVS skincare Q

    = $-.05
I’ll have to add a filler!!!!

And all of that using NONE of my ECB’s – but earning 5 ECB’s back!!!!

  • SarahG says:

I see a few people that had the $4/20 coupon used it more than once. Did they just have that many or can you get it back and reuse it? Thanks so much!!!

  • Danielle says:

I’m new, and maybe this is a dumb question, but what does P&G stand for?

  • says:

Thanks for such a great site. I just posted my link.

  • Angela says:

Went today, used my $10/$50 CRT(I keep getting them, very hard to use)
    2 11oz Dawn Dish soap
    3 13.5oz Pert Plus
2 18oz Old Spice Body Wash
    1 12oz Gillette Body Wash
1 18oz Olay Ribbons Body Wash
1 15.2oz Olay Botanicals Body Wash
    2 2.7oz Sure Deoderant
    * will get $2.99 back in rebate
2 12.5oz Pledge Clean and Dust
    2 20oz Sobe Lifewater

Used $10/$50; mfg coupon for every item; $14 in ECB. OOP was $5.77. Got $16 in ECB back.

I love saving this money. I looked at all I have gotten since June 13th (didn’t have receipts from the first two weeks of June) and I have only spent $11 and have gotten a ton of stuff.

I love your site. It is so helpful.

I have only been CVSing for about a month now and this is my first post about a recent shopping trip.
The manager checked us out and since this is the only CVS in our area (and it is still 30 minutes away), he allowed me to do as many transactions as I wanted. He was very nice and very accommodating!

In 9 transactions here is my take:
    21 Soy Joy Bars (raincheck)
3 Huggies Bath & Body Items (raincheck)
    2 CVS Tampons
    2 CVS Panty Liners
    8 Pert Plus 13.5 oz
4 Pert Plus 25.4 oz (They were out of the ones on sale $2/5 (after the 8 above) so the manager marked the larger size down from $5.69 to $4.00 and allowed me to use (2) $2.00 coupons, making them free!)
    1 Gillette Men’s Body Wash
    1 Olay Daily Facials
    2 Olay Regenerist Cleansing Wipes
    1 Playtex Tampons
    5 CVS Facial Wipes
2 Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara
2 Cover Girl Eye Enhancers Eye Shadow
    1 Always Panty Liners
    1 Always Pads
    1 Doublemint gum

Total OOP: $16.08 (I noticed that they charged me for an extra Huggies Bath & Body item at $3.49. Once this is corrected, my OOP will be $12.59)
    Total ECBs Earned: $19.96
    Total Savings this trip: $169.39

I have to say that I am quite proud of myself!! (My husband is too!)

  • Andrea says:

Woot! I just completed my first “CVS game” transaction here.

It’s not nearly as good as what you’re blogging about, but worth mentioning!

My first transaction was for the Gillette Venus Embrace Razor w/ shower caddy:

    Original price: $11.99
    Sale price: $9.99
    Coupon: $2.00
    ECB reward: $3.00

Total cost for first transaction: $8.64

My second transaction was for Fabreeze fabric refresher and air freshner:

Original price for the 2 fabric freshners: $5.99 each ($11.98)
Original price for air freshner: $3.29
Sale price: $3.99 for the fabric freshner and $2.49 for the air spray
Manufacturer’s Coupon: Buy one, get one free saving $3.99
ECB coupon from 1st transaction: $3.00
    ECB reward: $5.00

Total cost for second transaction: $3.78

My last transaction was for 2 packages of Always 24-count Maxi pads, a full-size tube of Crest Pro-Health toothpaste, and a 3-pack of Gillette Venus Disposable Malibu razors:

Original price for maxi pads: $3.69 each ($7.38)
Original price for Venus disposables Malibu: $8.39
Original price for Crest pro health toothpaste: $3.89
Sale price for maxi pads: $2.99
    Sale price for Venus: $4.99
    Sale price for toothpaste: $2.49
Manufacturer’s coupons: Buy one get one free maxis, $2.00 of razors, and $1.00 off toothpaste
    ECB coupon: $5.00
No ECB reward on this one 🙁

Total cost for last transaction: $1.77

I got all that stuff for $14.19! Added it all up before coupons, sales, and ECBs, it was $50.79 (after tax). I saved $36.60.

  • Julie C says:

Just a confirmation…my Wal-mart(Ohio) does still have the Powerade for $.60 each. So if you have the $.75 coupons you may get them free overage.

  • Laurie A says:

For whomever asked about the Cover Girl deal:
    I bought:
    – two Lash Blast and two Enhanced Eye Colors

    I used:
    – two BOGO (Lash Blast/Enhanced Eye Color)
    – one $1 off Covergirl (maybe someone could tell me if I could have used two for the two Eye Enhancers?)

    The receipt read:
    $8.49 (Mascara #1)
    Free (Mascara #2)
    $5.49 (Eye Enhancer #1)
$2.75 (half price for the second Eye Enhancer)
    -$5.49 (BOGO coupon #1)
    -$5.49 (BOGO coupon #2)
    -$1 (Covergirl coupon)
Total: $16.73-11.98=$4.75 for two mascaras and two really nice eye shadows.

  • Heather near Atlanta says:

P&G stands for Proctor & Gamble.

  • Katy says:

Maybe someone already mentioned this (I haven’t made it all the way through the comments yet!), but the Dawn $1 coupon is working for the orange kind, which is what I got. I didn’t want the foam, and my CVS didn’t have Simple Pleasures, so I took a chance. It scanned without a problem!

Also, the Febreeze B1G1 coupons worked at my CVS. It beeped, because it asks the cashier to type in the amount each “Air” costs. Then they have to write it on the coupon, too. Just a heads up, since one of the other comments said it didn’t work for them.

  • says:

This might have been commented about already, didn’t go through them all to see. But the Cover Girl BOGO Mascara deal works-

They are on sale for BOGO and I had 4 BOGO coupons– got 8 free (keeping 2 different ones for myself and giving the rest away to friends and ministry at church).

  • says:

Has anyone done the deal on the first page (buy $20 of P&G items pictured, get a free case of water)?

I tried it last night and my math wasn’t correct (or I got the wrong Always pads that didn’t count towards the deal?..) and got charged the water. My question is: is the total kept somewhere in the system (it’s not listed on the bottom of my receipt as other ECB deals)? I wish I could buy another item so my total would be over $20 and I could get a case of water free, but I am afraid to give it a try – if it doesn’t work, I’ll end up paying full price for another case of water that I do not desperately need…

    Any thoughts?

  • says:

Hi, Crystal! This is my first time commenting and I just wanted to say thanks! I’ve been reading your blog for about two weeks and I’m sslllooowly learning all this stuff. It’s a blast! I did my third CVS run today and didn’t do great, but I did get some good deals! Did an oops: I didn’t realize that I could only used the $2 beauty care coupon one time. Oh well, I’m learning lots of lessons and saving lots of money! Thanks, again!

  • says:

I made my first trip to CVS and, once I get the hang of it, I think I’m going to love it!

    I did so good today!
