Free Summer bowling for children

From KidsBowlFree.com:

Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in the first ever “Kids Bowl Free” program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer.

Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations. There is no cost to participate and there are no strings attached.

There aren’t any bowling alleys in our area participating so I can’t check this out more thoroughly, but it looks like you just need to pick your local bowling alley (if there is one participating) and then fill out the information and they will send you a coupon which you can redeem all Summer long!

If you sign up for this, I’d be interested to hear how it works for you.

Thanks, Frugal Freebies and Deals!

There’s not one near me either, but the audio is saying there is a one time fee of $19.95 and they will send coupons weekly to your email.

My 6-year-old brought a postcard advertisement for this home from school yesterday. We went on-line and signed up last night. The kids are free, and the family pass is a one-time fee of $19.95 (which allows up to 4 additional family members – parents/babysitter/etc.). Once you sign up, it gives you a link to download coupons for the current week, and they will be e-mailed to us weekly after that.

Our bowling alley is open Wednesday through Saturday evenings all summer long. My plan for this evening is McD’s free chicken sandwiches, followed by bowling! 🙂

We bowled with this last night – 3 boys, dh, and I. It only cost us $3.75 for the evening – the rental charge for the boys’ shoes. Now, if only we can figure out how to keep our not-quite-two year old busy while the rest of us bowl – he was a monster at the alley last night!
